Comments: Listenable, but barely as the recording is a bit "muffled" sounding. Fortunately, the performance makes the effort of listening worthwhile, Disc 1 concludes with a marathon, 26 minute performance of "Same Old Blues", with fiery, torrid playing from EC and great jams from the band, lots of dynamics, including sweet vocal fills by Nathan and over-the-top keyboard playing by Alan Clark. Clark also contributes some sweet B3 work to a classy reading of "Holy Mother". Nathan East gets in some cool little bass fills in "Badge", and after "Layla", EC mentions that they will be dedicating the rest of the show to someone's birthday, but it's difficult to tell who he is referring to, as the recording is a bit muffled there. Final encore, "Further On Up the Road", features Robert Cray on vocals and guitar. Final show of 1987 tour. Not to be confused with "Another Blues Night 1987".
