Review from the Where's Eric? Website: On Tuesday 25 April, Eric Clapton joined Bobby Whitlock for his TV appearance on Later with Jools Holland. In an historic and emotional reunion, they played "Wing and a Prayer" and "Bell Bottom Blues", both tracks featured on Bobby's new album "It's About Time" (Grapevine GRACD 265). Bobby was also interviewed live by the show's host, Jools Holland, who also joined the fun by playing Hammond organ.

Eric played a black Stratocaster and added tasteful fills to the first song and a sweet, melodic solo on "Bell Bottom Blues". Bobby's voice was strong and soulful over his solid piano playing. The evening concluded with "Southern Gentlemen" on which Eric really let rip with extended solos.
