SRV Last Night Visitor Comments: "I was lucky enough to be at his last two shows, and the Sweet Home Chicago, Clapton's encore, was amazing. All, Srv and brother Jimmy, EC, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and Albert Lee, took a solo, with Stevie being last up in the round. He does his turn, and trys to throw the solo back to Clapton, who takes his hands off his guitar, and refuses to take the solo back from SRV, insisting he, SRV, take another solo. That's the highest praise possible from Clapton, IMHO. The night before, EC had a roadie peel the guitar out of guest Jeff Healey's hands, (after he realized why his dirty looks weren't getting to the blind guitarist), so EC could wrap up the Encore, Crossroads if I remember right. And heck, this was only the second best SRV show I've seen. (Milwaukee 84) " - Anon ![]()
