Aerosmith - Texxas Jam '78
Dallas, Texas - July 4, 1978 - DVD-R2
Geetarz Comments:
Aerosmith was still at the swaggering height of their first run of fame when they headlined an all-day festival in Texas in 1978, which turned out to be one of the band's last live dates with guitarist Joe Perry before he quit the band shortly after the release of the album Night in the Ruts. (Perry would, of course, rejoin the band in 1985, helping to bring Aerosmith back to the top of the charts.) This video preserves an hour's worth of classic live Aerosmith; selections include "Rats in the Cellar," "Get the Lead Out," "Draw the Line," "Toys in the Attic," "Sweet Emotion," and seven more.
