Geetarz Comments: After a show at the Meadowlands Arena, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Gilmour, Mason, Scott Page, Rachel Fury, Margaret Taylor, Guy Pratt, and Tim Renwick made an impromptu appearance at the World Club in New York City, where they played a 48 minute set of R&B standards. Track 9 is from the Saturday Night Live TV show jam featuring Dave Gilmour, G.E. Smith, and T. Bone Woulk. The final track is from a Tribute to Les Paul recorded at the Majestic Theatre, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and features Gilmour, Jan Hammer, Tony Levin, and of course Les Paul! An interesting document of several rare and hard to obtain performances.
Visitor Comments: "Pink Floyd played at the Pontiac Silverdome this date, they played Oct. 11, 87' in NYC area...I was at this Pontiac show...recorded it as well!" - Rob
