Well said Mark!!!

When I stopped receiving the digest via AOL about a
month ago, at first I thought I had been unsubscribed
for some reason. I re-subscribed and still did not
receive any digests. Finally, I re-subscribed from a
different e-mail account (Yahoo) and I started to
receive the digests again.

Like it or not (and there seems to be a lot of
anti-AOL sentiment out there), AOL is the largest ISP
in the world. How many AOL slowhanders will be lost
forever? Many will think they have been unsubscribed
and won't bother to re-subscribe. Many will not
remember how to re-subscribe. Many will simply
think the list has folded and not even try to
re-subscribe. It would be a shame to lose all of these
slowhanders!

Final point, please understand that most AOL'ers are
NOT receiving the digest. Posting such comments as
"get another service" and "it's not my problem, you
need to contact AOL" will do no good. They will not be
receiving these suggestions.

A couple months ago, a very rare VHS tape of one of the Legends shows was
offered up for sale to the Digest. Did someone buy it? If so...are you
willing to step forward? Please share!!

Thanks,
Josh Ritter

for sale. Maybe its inappropriate to list this here, but I am fond of =
these magazines and would like them to go to another Clapton fan. I =
won't waste more time here on it, you can visit it at this link:

I recently bought George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. Sadly, most of
the songs are still drowned in Phil Spector's Wall of Sound.

Anyway - is there anyone out there that noticed the similarities between
the track "The Art of Dying" and the Derek & the Dominos' "Why Does Love
Got to Be So Sad" of a month or so later? Strangely, I've never seen it
listed that Eric Clapton played on The Art of Dying. Sort of echoes the
thoughts of DeltaNick about Laya & Other Assorted Love Songs a week or
so ago which indicated that the album was nothing different to what was
being done by others at the time.

What I miss in the CD packaging (as opposed to the original LP's box) is
the poster of the picture of George Harrison as shown on page 3 of the
booklet. When I had a bachelor flat, the toilet was located in a dark
corner of the bathroom. I hung the poster just below the ceiling
opposite the toilet, which was "daunting" for those using sitting on the
bogs.

Cheers - Kevin
