Hey Gang,

Happy New Year from England, where our man Eric put on one whale of a
show last night. Opening with Squeeze's Tempted, EC was resplendent in
an Armani black suit, t-shirt and blue suede shoes and laughed quite a
bit playing with his mates. Mercifully, Gary Brooker was a tad less
obnoxious than last year, but still, **in my opinion** took up too much
air time and appeared to have had a few. (He should just come up to
sing A Whiter Shade of Pale.) The cast of characters with me will post
the set sheet here shortly, but among the highlights for me were:

-An absolutely shockingly soulful and kickin' Heard It Through the
Grapevine-Wow!

-A knockout Little Queenie.

-Paul Carrack's singing How Sweet It Is. (And his booming Hammond B3
and Leslie all through the night!)

-AFL's raucous rendition of Gin House

and for me the single moment:

-At midnight, EC kicking off Wilson Pickett's In The Midnight Hour
(That's when everyone's love came tumblin down! Man, that was it!)

More on Brooker and Dickson later.

Keep On Rockin'

Bill

Hello,

I am looking for the tablature of this tune.
Does anybody have an idea where I can find this?

Thanks,

Kris Senden

Slowhanders,

For many years I have been looking for a "live" video copy of Delaney and
Bonnie doing "I Don't Know Why"(with Eric singing).

The first time I saw it was on Eric's VH-1's Legends. They showed a few
seconds of it.
The second time I saw it was when one of you Slowhanders pointed us to a
website address that had the full clip that could be viewed over the
internet.

My questions are:

1) Can this clip still be found and viewed on the internet?
2) If so, can this format be transferred effectively to VHS or DVD?
3) Do any of you Slowhanders have the capability to do this?

This is such an neat clip of Eric singing at an interesting stage in his
career. Please, will somebody provide an answer privately on this?

Cheers,
Jay

Subject: "Johnny Guitar"

I've recently transcribed most of "Johnny Guitar" (from the "Ain't gonna
stand for it"-single). But there's some parts I'm not 100 % sure about. If
anybody's interested mail me off-digest, and I'll send you what I've got.
Maybe somebody can fill in the "missing" parts ?

Regards,

Harald

AOL won't even deliver mail from Harvard. Seriously, this confirms my
suspicions that; 1) AOL is blocking mail intended for recipients based on
unpublished "anti-spam" policies and 2) even they do not know exactly what
will trigger this rejection.
