Kudo's arent enough for the tribute disc that so many contributed
to and did an excellent job with. I have sent my copy to the
Grammy's nomination committee, but alas have not heard if they
won in the "best impersonation album, song and record" After all if
Milli-Vanilli can win (probably not the best analogy)! Digesters
there is some excellent material on this disc and the recording
quality is very good (sb6+). After hearing the quality of folks
playing I have given up the guitar feeling hopeless to never aspire to
our fellow digesters or the 11 year old who precedes my lesson
time. GREAT JOB TO ALL! All who played and all who put it
together!

If anyone would like a copy I finally have a copy (Thanks Scott!)
that I would be happy to copy or you could go to the site to
download the tracks you like (which will be every one!). Let me
know.

Pete

CD Now is currently advertising a bunch of remastered limited editions coming out on January 15th, plus one they are calling Eric Clapton Live and another one called In The Blues With EC 1.
Does anyone know if Eric Clapton Live is a renaming of EC Was Here? And what is In The Blues With EC 1? As usual, CD Now has no detailed information.

Thanks.

Best,

Ken

Someone asked about where to find "Theme From a Movie Than Never Happened.''

It's on the CD single of "My Father's Eyes." If none of the popular services
like cdnow.com list it, you might try musicimports.com

It's also included as a extra track on some non-U.S. releases of the
"Pilgrim" CD.

GB is Gary Brooker on piano and vocals
PC is Paul Carrack on keyboards (listen to him on Jools Hollandīs!)

And the bride-groom - EC!

A great hello and best wishes to him and his family!!

BTW the new year did not continue that great for me next morning (i.e.New
Year!) : I had a late morning walk from Woking through the river Wey meadows
to Ripley where I found the Green and visited St.Mary Magdalen then at noon.
Next to the church is even the cottage where Rose Clapp had lived. But no
signs or idea what still would happen that day!

Nevertheless it was a great night for friends and fans of EC from really all
over the world and afterwards a great day for EC, relatives and
friends.Congratulations to them again!

Many thanks too for all those around who provided for this sober night!

And I just hope that somebody would provide some kind of copy of the night at
the Woking Leisure Centre!

Best regards (after return from London and a few days off with my wife! And
the additional delay my aol provided!), mostly to Bill R., Sergey in Moscow
and all those whom I traded with or still should!

Fred
(the German whoīs working in Moscow)
(therefor there is still another address!)

Lateron from Moscow there could be also some photos as well as the copy of
the line up of the evening in Woking!

Wanted to throw a couple of questions to the group:

1. Have either 2000 or 2001 New Years Eve shows that eric has performed been
recorded?

2. Does anyone have any Reptile Tour soundboards for trade?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Thanks
Apurva
