Hello Alfredo,
All the songs came from members of the Slowhand digest list serve.
When we put together another tribute I will post to the digest and you can
send in a song.
I request a finished song on a cd.How you choose to record it is up to
you. Some people recorded live, others in home studios.
Scott

Pete from Florida I too have reached maximum with about 10
people who should be seeding those out when I have the discs.

So I am blowing the candles out on this cake and sending out
presents :)

Thanks again Scott what a great compilation. Too bad we didnt
think about this for subsequent tours. A wrap up disc of the entire
set list! One question: Is river of tears on this compilation, I dont
recall seeing it on your setlist.

Thanks again

Pete from Florida

I don't get this. EC will sell enough no matter what he does. If he
actually put out a back to roots, guitar in your face album, it would sell
big time. I mean, its what everyone is waiting for. He has million of fans
that would buy this, not too mention all the guitar players out there that
are expecting this someday. I think the impressions idea is probably the
most likely, but would probably be reptile-like. Reptile did sell. Maybe
not 10 million copies, but it was hardly a failure. People want EC to put
the amp in again and play loud, but the guy is closer to 60 than 30, and he
has been there and done that.

What I would like to see is EC doing a disc with the likes of Gov't Mule or
Bramhall. Play with people that can push him to play his ass off again.

It certainly is heartening to see so many getting into the spirit of things
and sharing the Budokan 12/4/01 soundboard recording.

Now, I'll provide the video, to go with the audio. I converted the Budokan
show to VideoCD directly from my widescreen DVD copy. It only took about 14
hours . I also letterboxed it in the process so it will display in
proper widescreen format.

VideoCDs should play fine in most DVD players, as well as on any PC with at
least a 2x CD-ROM drive and a software DVD player.

I'll send out free copies to the first 5 respondants with the proviso that
they in turn do the same. If ya don't hear back from me, sorry, you didn't
make the cut.

I'll post the names of the winners!

Now, let the scramble begin...

Cheers,
Mark Deavult
