Hello Slowhanders,
I have a question for Eric fans that are guitar players and also
Allman Brothers fans.
The song "Come and Go Blues" off of Bothers and Sisters. I am
desperately trying to find an accurate tabulator. Especially for the
four descending chords that start the verse which begins with a G
chord. I pretty darn close but something's missing. Any help would be
appreciated.

There is a new commerative issue of LIFE magazine
celebrating 50 years of rock n roll that just hit
the newstands. It is worth getting for some of the
rare photo's. They also rate the top 100 artists
of all time and EC is ranked 11th (by comparison
Hendrix ranked 16th).They have a great shot of
Eric in Cream circa '67 in front of his dual Marshall
stacks..

I support this call to set up a tree...I have seen all
this going on and sent in a couple of requests and
never seem to get through as I don't always access my
email messages RIGHT away, so if a tree were set up, I
would appreciate it.

Greetings,

Having run a tree, I can tell you first hand that it is a lot of work,
it's not very efficient and even with the best of efforts some folks get
left off.

The weed system (as Mark calls it) is much easier and more efficient.
What is need is message board to keep track of who has copies and who
wants copies. That would be much better than having the digest be
primarily posting for folks offering copies. Also as Mark has done, it
would be great to make sure that copies reach Europe, Japan and Down
Under.

Anybody have a good idea for a Slowhand message board to keep track of
the weeds?

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I've never run a tree, and imagine it is a lot of
work, but many folks do run them and have them going continually. I'm
currently involved in several. (As a branch). Whatever the members of the
list prefer.

The usual drill. Thanks to the generosity of Ed Petry,
I will offer up the Budokan show to the first 5 people
in the US to respond. If you don't receive a response
back from me, then you weren't one of the first 5.
