okay, i know y'all have given instructions over and over again, but
because james was so gracious in providing me EC/VCD, I now have to pay
attention. Let me say, i have windows media(i keep getting a message
saying can't read/play format). I believe my Real Time Player said the
same.....can't remember what Quick Time said. James sent me excellent
instructions, but now i must figure if my settings or whatever need to
be changed/configured, etc. I have tried 2 other VCD's, with no luck.

I need simple, concise, precise, 1st grade level instructions. You may
email me privately at layla@comcast.net or slwhnd@webtv.net.

thank you.........
nancy

Just finished listening to the 12/31/01 show thanks to Pat. A bit of a
different set-list than previous New Year's Eve shows (although some of the
usual tunes were there also). Much more "oldie" rock and rollers. A little
different Cocaine; I really like the arrangement. But the tune that really
stuck with me was I Heard It Through The Grapevine. EC has some really
tastefull guitar work in it. Does anyone know the band line-up? I know EC
and Gary Booker, I'd especially like to know the lead vocalist on the
"oldie" rock and rollers.

Fellow Slowhanders,

I came across something interesting last night. This is probably old news,
but I had not been aware of it before. There is an import DVD of EC and
Friends (Crossroads Benefit) which contains My Fathers Eyes. As we know,
this was left off the orginal commercial release. Total running time of the
DVD is listed as 4 minutes longer than the original.

Filmed live from the Madison Square Gardens in aid of the Crossroads
Treatment Centre. Guest stars includes Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow and Mary J.
Blige. The tracklist includes: 'My Father's Eyes', 'Hoochie Coochie Man',
'River Of Tears', 'Tears In Heaven', 'Old Love', 'Layla', 'Sunshine Of Your
Love', 'My Favourite Mistake' and 'Goin' Down Slow'. Running Time: 112
minutes

Cheers,
Jay

Is this available anywhere? I can only find it on VHS. Any help would be
greatly appreciated

If EC writes and performs songs that are "from his heart" then I don't care
if they are nursery rhymes to his new baby, they will probably be excellent
and I would buy them.

Hello everyone...
I've finished up some "reworked" artwork for Scott's fabulous Bday Boxset.
I've sent it to MarkieD to upload to Geetarz along with the original covers.
So be sure to check his site in a few days to see if he's had the time to get
them posted.
Take care all!
