My turn to offer the bday box up (thank you, Daniel!)
Anyone still in need please e-mail miami718@aol.com
(please reference EC in the Subject line - toooooo much junk mail lately,
I tend to delete things straight away unless I know the sender or the topic)

Cheers, Janet

Of course I've been reading about this for quite some time. This sounds
like it's going to be a wonderful show. Will it be televised? Will it be
televised in the US? I am so hoping that we'll be able to get copies of the
show if now televised here.

Below is an edited transcript from the BBC Radio Times. It should clear up
some enquiries about the telecast of the concert.

The concert will be held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace on 3 June. The
BBC will produce and broadcast both concerts - which take place over an
extended bank holiday weekend - around the world.

Giant screens constructed around the palace will allow those without tickets
to see and be near the action.

Names in the frame include soul diva Aretha Franklin, Sir Elton John, Eric
Clapton, Bryan Adams and Stevie Wonder.

Following the show the Queen will light a beacon signalling the start of a
spectacular firework display and a chain of beacons stretching across the UK
and the Commonwealth.
