The Clapton Sessions: EC and Buddy Guy at Ronnie Scott's

Comments: Recorded for the South Bank Show interview programme in 1987, and later broadcast in edited form. Spurred on by the presence of Buddy Guy, "E" puts in one of the finest performances of his career. Parts of this performance were shown in the documentary, and then this edited version was later broadcast on TV as "The Clapton Sessions: EC and Buddy Guy at Ronnie Scott's". VideoCD sourced from c. 4th generation PAL format VHS recording of the TV broadcast. Also recommended is Ronnie Scott's '87, a complete audience recording of the entire live session.
